Who am I?
Howdy! I’m Emily Rose. I was raised in Louisville, Ky., but I’ve lived in Indiana, Georgia, and Michigan as well. With over 11 years of professional photography experience, I fell in love with love and photographing weddings and portraits have been my favorite events to capture. I’ve also spent the past decade as a photojournalist working for The Grand Rapids Press and Augusta Chronicle (Ga.). Currently I freelance for the New York Times and Wall Street Journal.
When I’m not taking pictures I’m exploring Michigan, skating with the Detroit Roller Derby AllStars, or playing canasta.
